These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern distance sales concluded through the website valta-trailers.com.

The specific consumer protection provisions apply to customers who qualify as consumers within the meaning of the French Consumer Code.

Any order implies the customer’s acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are made available to the customer before order confirmation.

ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS

The essential characteristics of each product are presented on its product page.

Depending on the product, this information may include in particular:

• brand and model;

• new or used condition;

• dimensions;

• gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR/PTAC) and technical specifications;

• equipment included;

• reference number;

• availability;

• price including all taxes.

The customer is invited to review all available information before placing an order.

Photographs must accurately represent the product or model being sold. Minor differences that do not affect the essential characteristics may exist where this is expressly stated.

ARTICLE 4 – USED PRODUCTS

When a product is sold as used, its condition is clearly indicated on the product page.

Any known defects, signs of use, or specific characteristics that may affect the purchase decision must be disclosed to the customer before the order is placed.

Used products sold by a professional seller to a consumer benefit from legal warranties under the conditions provided by applicable regulations.

ARTICLE 5 – AVAILABILITY

Products are offered subject to the availability indicated.

If the availability of a product changes after an order has been placed, VALTA will inform the customer as soon as possible and offer the solutions provided under applicable regulations.

ARTICLE 6 – PRICES

Prices are displayed in euros and include all applicable taxes.

The applicable price is the price displayed at the time the order is validated, subject to correction of an obvious error under the conditions permitted by applicable law.

Before the final order confirmation, the customer is informed of the total amount payable.

Delivery

Mainland France:
Free delivery, unless otherwise stated before the order is placed.

European Union:
€450 including VAT per item, unless otherwise stated before the order is placed.

ARTICLE 7 – ORDER PROCESS

To place an order, the customer selects the product, checks the contents of the shopping cart, provides the required information, reviews the applicable conditions, and proceeds with payment.

Before final confirmation, the customer has the opportunity to review the order and correct any possible errors.

The order creates an obligation to pay when this is clearly indicated at the time of validation.

A confirmation is then sent to the email address provided by the customer.

ARTICLE 8 – PAYMENT

The payment methods actually available are displayed during the ordering process.

They may include in particular:

• Visa;

• Mastercard;

• bank transfer when agreed upon or offered.

Complete bank card details are not stored directly by VALTA.

In the event of payment by bank transfer, the order shall be considered paid once the funds have been effectively received.
